How do I reset my progress?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Reset Progress". This will clear all your XP, completed scenarios, and achievements. This action cannot be undone.
How do I change the language?
+
Rival Edge automatically uses your device's language setting. To change the language, go to your iPhone Settings → General → Language & Region → iPhone Language. The app supports English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
Is my progress saved to the cloud?

Your progress is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled for the app, your data will be backed up with your device's iCloud backup. If you delete and reinstall the app, your progress may be lost unless you have a backup.
What is a Nash Equilibrium?

A Nash Equilibrium is a situation where no player can improve their outcome by changing their strategy alone. It's named after mathematician John Nash (1950). In the app, we highlight the Nash Equilibrium in each scenario to show you the "stable" outcome where both players have no incentive to deviate.
How are stars calculated?

Stars are based on your score relative to the best and worst possible outcomes in each scenario:
• ⭐⭐⭐ 3 stars: Top 15% of possible scores
• ⭐⭐ 2 stars: Top 40% of possible scores
• ⭐ 1 star: Above bottom 35%
The "optimal" outcome depends on your opponent's choice — sometimes the Nash Equilibrium isn't the maximum score!

How do I restore my purchase?

If you made an in-app purchase and need to restore it (for example, after reinstalling the app), go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
